Home Depot in Jersey City (180 12th Street) uses a third party courier service called Home Delivery America to deliver their large appliance. If you ever think about purchase appliance from this Home Depot, please change your mind now. The horrible experience of mine as well as 100+ other Home Depot customers can assure you that you will be better off buying from another appliance vendor.

Home Delivery America is a Union City based private business. Their email address ends with homedelamerica.com. Avoid them when you can.
I recently bought a washer and dryer from Home Depot in Jersey City. The customer service assured my that the delivery service include free hook-up of the new appliances.
When the guys from Home Delivery American came to my building on the delivery day, they blatantly denied that installation is part of the service, even if I have proof from Home Depot. They refused to even look at my proof, because they knew perfectly well that Home Depot requires them to install the new appliance. They don't care.
They tried to make up excuses such as I didn't order the necessary parts for installation. The fact is that the new appliances have all the parts required. While I am on the phone with Home Depot for another confirmation that they are responsible for appliance hook-up, they left without a word. They just left with my new appliances in their truck.
They treat Home Depot customers like fools. And Home Depot Jersey City does not hold them accountable for the repeated offence. As customers, you waste half of your day if you are lucky. If you are the unlucky ones, Home Delivery America may damage your home, leave your house with gas leaking, the horror stories go on and on.
Avoid Home Depot Jersey City, stay away from Home Delivery America.
